External Description:

Informatica is currently looking for a Field Marketing Intern with experience and/or aspiration to market software to join our team in Maidenhead. 

Job Summary

As a Field Marketing Intern you will be responsible for supporting the UK & Ireland field marketing team in the execution of marketing campaigns and events. This will include campaign set-up, promotion whilst ensuring a closed loop approach for campaign ROI. In the role of Field Marketing Intern, you must be able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Working as the Field Marketing Intern you must have strong teamwork, communication and collaboration skills. 

What You’ll Do

  • Reporting and measurement – you will work closely with the marketing team to ensure a closed-loop approach in order to review and understand the success of campaigns executed along with any improvement metrics.
  • Budget Management – you will assist with the coordination and management of the central marketing budget and processing of purchase orders.
  • Social Media – be a strong social media advocate within the team to amplify Informatica’s marketing programmes, enhancing the regional social media strategy, coverage, and increasing internal adoption.
  • Event Management – working in conjunction with field marketing managers, you will help co-ordinate pre and post-event management, (such as Marketo inputs, registration management, lead uploads and event communication, contact updates in Salesforce, assigning tasks to Account Managers etc.)
  • Internal Communications – ensure all internal communications systems are up to date (e.g. TeamUp, our internal marketing calendar).

Key Essentials

  • Bachelor’s degree candidate majoring in Marketing Management and or Business is preferred (e.g. Marketing Management, Communication Management, Business Administration or International Management)
  • Good understanding of the marketing mix, including event coordination, campaign management, marketing and database operations, marketing communications, digital marketing and social media
  • Savviness in online/social media
  • Team-player
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
  • Hands-on, and practical with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Enjoys being a generalist, involved in all aspects of marketing
  • Results-driven

What Does Success Look Like?

  • You will be an integral part of the UKI field marketing and sales team, by being results-driven to ensure campaigns are set up and run effectively end-to-end to demonstrate successful return on investment.
