We’re currently looking for an experienced AEM developer to join our Tech Docs tools team in Bangalore.

 

Job Summary

As a Senior AEM Developer on the Documentation Tools team, you will be responsible for helping the documentation team evolve their documentation portal into an innovative, industry leading site where customers get key content for using Informatica products.

 

In the role of Senior AEM Developer, you’ll be an influential member of the talented and enthusiastic documentation tools team. You’ll work closely within the team and cross functionality to design and implement enhancements to the documentation portal, which is built on AEM. The enhancements you make will contribute to increased customer satisfaction and adoption of Informatica products.

 

Day-to-day Duties? Here's What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and supporting customization and enhancements for multiple web applications on different platforms.
• Making timely fixes to the documentation portal based on feedback.
• Interacting with members of your team and the Documentation team to clarify requirements, manage project delivery, and obtain feedback on deliverables.
• Proposing enhancements and new approaches to the documentation portal based on analytics, feedback, and new ideas.

 

Key Essentials

• Four-year degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, or systems engineering
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience with AEM versions 6.2 and higher and extensive knowledge of underlying concepts, frameworks and APIs.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing Java-based web or enterprise applications with strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns and common frameworks like Struts, Spring, and Hibernate with exposure to a testing framework like Mockito or Junit
• Minimum 3 years of significant experience with jQuery and leading JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or REACT.
• Ability to develop templates and components in the Adobe CQ/AEM platform using RESTful web principles.
• Experience in converting wireframes into HTMLs and UI development skills, including a strong command of CSS with focus on responsive design and proficiency in Bootstrap and other UI frameworks and with JS testing frameworks like Jasmine or Mocha.
• Ability to create, implement, manage and own AEM workflows.
• Ability to manage the Java Content Repository (JCR), Sling web framework, and Apache Felix OSGi configuration.
• Ability to optimize CQ5/AEM performance through the use of the AEM dispatcher and content delivery networks.
• Familiarity with deployment on Tomcat, Apache and NodeJS servers
• Basic knowledge of SQL and data modelling
• Basic knowledge of Linux commands and familiarity working with applications running on Linux
• Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively with peers and management, including interacting with a globally dispersed team.
