As a Program Manager, you will work with a world class engineers to deliver the next generation cloud platform using the latest cutting edge cloud technology, such as Amazon AWS, Saleforce.com, Microsoft Azure and Docker, to provide non-disruptive cloud Enterprise Information Management cloud service to our customers 

Our Ideal Candidate

You are a seasoned program manager. You have track record managing large scale software development releases. You are willing to work on many different projects and interested in assuming various responsibilities. You are comfortable managing fast-pace cloud software development release, self-motivated with strong inter-personal and communication skill. 

The position is suited for highly motivated and energetic individuals with a desire to work on release management for high-performance products. We are looking for someone with a background in software release management to coordinate our product release management activities.

Your Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be based in Bangalore, India and will:

• Serve as a scrum master for one or more development teams
• Help teams with the Agile methodology adoption and align all the teams within the program with the set guidelines
• Help in creating Agile workflows catering to the existing practices
• Help in Cross Functional Cloud management with respect to Security and Documentation
• Developing detailed project plan and coordinating with multiple teams to come up with the final Release Plan
• Coordinate major feature development cross functional teams at different sites for the flawless execution of projects
• Facilitate the planning and implementation of cross-functional software release and software development projects
• Champion the development process, the quality of our software, and the delivery of the product
• Working across Geographies and flexible with timings
• Work with product managers and development managers to define the project scope and objectives
• Develop a detailed project plan to track, monitor, and report on product and development team deliverables.
• Lead/ help with continuous process improvement initiatives across Informatica R&D teams
• Proactively manage changes in the releases, identify potential hurdles, and devise contingency plans.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Successfully manage the relationship with all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Work with product manager to run beta program and ensure new product adoption
• Lead the coordination of product release management activities across product management, multiple development and test teams, business units and functions in compliance with the company’s documented release management process
• Handle multiple product release projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while effectively managing priorities
• Ensure that managed projects and results are delivered according to plan and that the appropriate methodologies are in place to monitor project execution
• Maintain ongoing communication channel throughout the Software Development Lifecycle with organizations that are shipping product releases
• Plan and schedule product release management activities, and track release deliverables using appropriate tools
• Monitor and report on pipeline and status of product releases to all stakeholders
• Work with other team members to resolve product release related issues and escalate as appropriate
• Work with development teams, Legal Department, DevOps, and Technical Writers to ensure that appropriate legal steps have been taken and that all product documentation and legal notices are appropriately prepared
• Work with Customer Support, Licensing, and Shipping Department to ensure that all necessary steps to achieve shipping readiness have been completed before deployment
• Identify opportunities for improvement and scaling of release related processes, and implement changes in process as agreed upon
• Develop and maintain quality related processes to meet our business objectives
• Own and manage risks, escalations, problem resolution and corrective action
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
• Facilitate the planning and implementation of cross-functional software release and software development projects
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop full scale project plans and track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Create and present reports defining project progress, problems and solution

 

Your Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Software Program/ Project Manager or scrum master in an Agile development environment
• Proven working experience in Agile Software Development is a must
• Experience in Cloud Ecosystem Management with proven experience in handling Cloud Development using Jira, Portfolio and Confluence
• Experience in managing projects related to Cloud offerings from AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform
• Experience in managing Security Projects and knowledge of Veracode and Black duck scanning tolls
• Knowledge of IT Operational Processes, Agile, DevOps, Service Management Frameworks(ITIL) and Tools
• Broad knowledge of IT concepts, including Cloud hosting, encryption, networking, operating systems, containerization, databases, middleware, and applications
• Experience project managing large, enterprise-wide product development projects involving cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership, project management, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• CSM, PMP or similar certifications is a plus
• BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred
• Programming background is strongly desired
• Ability to work independently and move projects forward with little direction
• Ability to navigate several active projects and manage time accordingly
