Informatica is currently looking for a development or QA Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship in the summer of 2021.

We are looking for motivated developer or QA intern with solid computer science fundamentals and analytical skills to join our team in Cloud R&D in the summer 2021 to work on the exciting next generation Cloud platform.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Current Bachelor or Master student in Computer Science or related fields
  • Experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, Ruby or shell scripting
  • Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and operating system concepts
  • Basic understanding of database systems
  • Experience in Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Fast learner and the abilities to adapt to new technologies and tools
  • Strong communication skills and the passion to learn

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot problems.
  • Experience in automation for routine tasks
  • Familiar with one or more of the Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS and GCP.

Detailed Job Duties:

  • Participate in product development for Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) which is a iPaaS product -
  • Contribute to full stack development in CDI. Make enhancements to improve product UX, functionalities, stability and performance. Implement the code changes in the affected the microservices and UI components.
  • Work with UX designer, Product Management and development architect to design the enhancements and QA to test the changes.
  • Work with Documentation to document the enhancements.
  • Work with DevOp team to integrate the changes in the build system along with unit tests. Deploy build artifacts to Cloud.
  • Conduct product demo on the changes and collect feedbacks.
  • Fix products bugs reported by QA and customers.
