Description
Informatica is currently looking for a Partner Solution Consultant (PSC) for the Global Technical
Alliances team. Ideally, candidates who are technically proficient and have the patience and passion
to guide our partners through all the capabilities of our products and solutions. Whether it’s a
product demonstration, product enablement or solving technical problems and assisting partners
during their implementation of our products, our PSCs would be willing to listen, ask the right
questions and take the time to roll up their sleeves and build solutions where needed. Being able to
operate in a collaborative work environment yet being equally adept at working independently
would be important.
Job Summary
As an influential and effective Partner Presales consultant or Architect, you’ll have the ability to
implement and execute on organizational and team vision and goals and provide technical support
to our partners. You would be eager to share your knowledge and best practices and to develop and
sustain an open line of communication with your management and teammates. If your team
members or partner associates are in remote locations, you would be comfortable working remotely
as well be ready to travel as needed to engage face-to-face.
What You’ll Do
• Represent Informatica as a Product/Technical expert to our partners and be responsible for partner
enablement and evangelism of our products and solutions
• Assist Technical Alliances Managers and our Global/Regional Alliance sales managers globally on
presales and post sales opportunities
• Respond to RFIs or RFPs or technical questions communicating the Informatica differentiators and
positioning. Qualify on a technical basis any technical proposal being put forward
• Play a key role in providing short-term hands-on technical support to strategic GSIs on
implementations working closely with Technical Alliance Managers, Professional services & Global
customer support teams
• Serve as a technical expert help partners with any joint solution development activities • Manage and/or deliver technical activities including but not limited to Proof of Concepts, product
demos & Technical Workshops
• Build relationships with our partners to discover/create/support new opportunities and accelerate
pipeline
• Develop deep level of expertise on assigned products
Key Essentials
• At least 5-7 years of experience in project implementations/ consulting role (Cloud Data Integration,
Data Governance, Data-Privacy , Master Data Management) using Informatica products.
• Strong expertise in Cloud Data Management, Data Integration and specifically Informatica
PowerCenter is a must-have skill.
• Good overall knowledge of one or more Cloud ecosystems (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Overall experience working with Tier-1 Sis or product companies of 8-10 years
• Proven experience of delivering successful implementations and customer success
• Excellent presentation abilities in front of all levels of technical and partner audiences
• Ability to work as part of a virtual team in delivering enablement, workshops and presales support
• Strong technical acumen and ability to deliver on team charter
• Be a team-player, be pro-active & have strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and reporting to internal & external stakeholders

• Successfully achieve role objectives assisting partners on post-sales (implementation), enablement
and presales pursuits
• Adapt to Informatica’s and team-work culture and establish an excellent working relationship within
the organization & with partners
• Demonstrate a strong desire to grow both technically and as a trusted advisor to the customer
Nice to Have
• One of more of Informatica products such as - Informatica Axon, Informatica Enterprise Data
Catalog, Informatica MDM, Informatica DEI (Big Data)
• Develop technical expertise on multiple Informatica products & become an SME on two major
product families
• Familiarity with one or more data management products in the market
• Develop technical expertise on multiple Informatica products & become an SME on two major
product families
• Industry vertical knowledge on one or more domains (Finance, Heath care, Insurance, Telecom)
• Project management or Team leading capabilities
