Finance Manager/Director – Product FP&A

We are looking for a Finance Manager/Director who will report into the VP of FP&A.  Initially, you will be dedicated to supporting the Product and Cloud organizations.

  • Develop useful and specific recommendations and communicate results effectively to all levels of management
  • Use your organizational skills to create a productive workflow that the larger team can understand and follow efficiently

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Establish strong business partner relationship with R&D, Product Management, and Cloud Operations leadership team
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget with a good understanding of each group’s goals
  • Structure department and account hierarchies for appropriate reporting needs
  • Monthly Forecast & Variance Analysis:
    • Perform actual vs. budget review of departmental expenses with managers providing proactive commentary regarding discrepancies
    • Prepare monthly forecast of operating expenses including foresight regarding business objectives
    • Develop KPIs and maintain business performance dashboards and results
  • Work collaboratively with the business and other internal Finance and Accounting teams
  • Track headcount and spend and recommend areas for improvement
  • Manage cost tracking of cloud hosting spend and usage (AWS, Azure, GCP, Etc.)
  • Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed
  • Maintain relationships with geographic finance teams to ensure quality deliverables and proper information flow

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
  • Detail oriented with ability to develop clear, concise executive level reports and summaries
  • 5+ or more years of relevant finance work experience in a FP&A role supporting mid-to-large sized organization
  • Experience in the software industry required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with high level management and multiple cross-functional groups
  • Ability to multi-task and manage dynamic workload of changing priorities
  • Team player with the ability to work independently, pro-actively and effectively under pressure
  • Experience with financial and reporting systems – Oracle Fusion, EPBCS, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and excellent Excel skills – is preferred
