Job Summary
As a Senior Performance Engineer and as part of agile team member, you will be responsible for building the leading integration-Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) product to provide Data Integration, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Data Governance, and other Information Management solution as a service on the cloud. In the role of Senior Performance Engineer, you must be able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment, and have strong technical, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Performance Engineer with a proven record of performance automation, performance testing and engineering to deliver high performance, scalable and stable enterprise class software. In this role, you will be responsible for creating performance automation scripts, executing, monitoring and analyzing performance bottleneck of product. You will work in a fast-paced environment delivering product and feature increments in short iterations. Your technical skills will be very critical to deliver product functionalities across releases.

Your Responsibilities
The performance engineer works closely with just about every team at Informatica to ensure our applications perform well under load and stable. That means writing and executing JMeter scripts for performance use cases, monitoring performance of application, servers and processes involved, conducting performance analysis, identifying performance bottleneck and working with the right people to resolve the issues. The performance engineer will identify and collect the necessary metrics to ensure the performance, stability and scalability of Informatica's products. The performance engineer will also have to ensure the client-side performance is up to par in a variety of supported browsers so they should have a good understanding of technologies like JavaScript, Ajax and be able to identify slow page elements.
The performance testing engineer will also get pulled into escalated production performance issues. That means they will need to be able to perform under pressure, manage multiple concurrent tasks, and present information clearly and concisely to upper management.
