Our Team 

Informatica is the leader in Enterprise Cloud Data Management and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services is the growth engine for Informatica in coming years. The Cloud Platform team drives the strategy, roadmap, and execution of the foundation of our cloud services, and the Cloud Compliance Product Manager role will help drive this strategy, roadmap, and execution for the government and other regulated verticals.  

Your Opportunity 

In this newly created cloud marketplace product management role, you will help us extend the market reach for our market-leading and defining integration solutions and software via cloud marketplaces, including Informatica’s cloud marketplace and marketplaces from AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and others. In this role, you will: 

  • Work with R&D, Sales, Business Development, IT, Finance and other internal organizations to drive product requirements and execution to deliver Informatica cloud services via industry-leading cloud marketplaces 
  • Evangelize our cloud marketplace offerings with internal stakeholders (Sales, Presales, Customer Success, and Support) and external stakeholders (ecosystem and distribution partners)  
  • Lead the market/technology research to develop a deep understanding of the technology, market, and competitors in the cloud space 
  • Drive the expansion of a growing segment of Informatica go-to-market and revenue  

Our Ideal Candidate  

  • You have strong intrapersonal skills and can work between Engineering/R&D, Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT, Security, and Product Management teams effectively and in a strongly collaborative fashion 
  • You have experience and awareness with integration software and technologies as well as exposure to the modern Cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform) and the common technologies and services offered 
  • You have experience in successfully delivering cloud marketplace offerings, including front and backend integration with a SaaS offering, via one more of the leading marketplaces from AWS, Azure, or Google 
  • You have familiarity with different subscription models, including multi-year contracts, Pay-as-you-Go (PAYG) offerings, renewals, and upsells 
  • You have deep experience with Enterprise sales models 
  • Experience with analytic, business intelligence, and data warehousing tools, technologies, and best practices 
  • You possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big picture vision, and the drive to make the vision a reality 
  • You can up-level complex concepts and technologies to a variety of teams and individuals, customers, and internal and external executives 
  • You enjoy spending time understanding the market and technology shifts in the cloud, understanding customer problems, synthesizing needs and defining innovative products and solutions 
  • You enjoy working directly with sales and customers during pre and post-sales activities 
  • You are comfortable being hands-on in fast-moving and rapidly changing technologies and products 
  • You can articulate the value proposition/story at varying depth depending upon audience types – Integration Experts, Customers, Partners, Decision Makers, Business, Sales, and Industry Analysts  

Your Responsibilities 

  • Develop product strategy, requirements, and roadmap for delivering Informatica Cloud offerings on Informatica, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and other cloud platform marketplaces 
  • Partner with product management, business development, IT, sales, legal, finance, engineering, operations, and marketing to deliver marketplace offerings 
  • Define, coordinate, and participate in continuous business monitoring and iterate quickly to improve business performance in collaboration with product marketing, digital marketing, and business development 
  • Support sales/presales/sales ops during cloud marketplace-based sales engagements 
  • Develop a strong understanding of Informatica cloud platform and services to deliver competitive marketplace offerings 
  • Develop a deep understanding of the ecosystem partner marketplace platforms and stay up-to-date on changing business and technical requirements 
  • Manage the entire product/solution life cycle from strategic planning to development to release and go-to-market of marketplace offerings 
  • Drive Informatica Cloud platform product improvements to improve integration capabilities with cloud marketplaces  

Your Qualifications and Experience  

  • Strong prior experience in cloud-based marketplace platforms, integrations, and offerings 
  • Good understanding of cloud IaaS platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.) 
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise sales models and SaaS subscription types 
  • Ability to contribute to defining a strategic vision and to articulate it in front of a variety of audiences including customers and partners and internal teams 
  • Prior experience with SaaS-based data management, analytics, data warehouse, or other enterprise SaaS platform solutions 
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills; solid business acumen; well-honed influencing skills are essential 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proven track record of building strong relationships, and establishing credibility with customers, prospects, analysts, sales, R&D, and the management team are a must 
  • Proven organizational and project management skills; ability to multi-task and work on several assignments concurrently required 
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented
