Informatica Core Technology Connectivity team is responsible for building the connectivity to various different third party systems that will power not only all Informatica on-premise products, but also power Informatica products as a Cloud based service to fully exploit the huge opportunity from today’s megatrends – Cloud, Social and mobile..
Your Opportunity
You will participate in the testing effort of enterprise software. He/she will test and critique software components and interfaces in great technical depth, write test frameworks, programs to assure high product quality, and develop advanced test tools to increase productivity and efficiency.

We are looking at hiring Senior/Lead Software Engineer QA for the connectivity QA team at Informatica who shall be responsible for conducting Functional, Concurrency, Stress/Longevity tests.
Your Responsibilities
- Design automation frameworks.
- Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities.
- Delivering high quality connectivity to systems such as
- Industry leading RDBMS such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase etc
- Data warehousing appliances like Netezza, Teradata, Greenplum
- ERP/CRM systems like SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards Enterprise One, Essbase, MS Dynamics etc
- Social Media like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
- Change Data capture
- Big Data (Hadoop)
- Working with internal and external customer to better understand use cases and design effective test strategy
- Innovating new ideas for automation and tools for overall QA productivity
- Collaborates effectively with peer engineers and architects to solve complex problems
- Complex problems that require tooling and infrastructure to help engineers reason about the correctness of their change. Test engineer purpose is to make engineering easier which includes building tools and infrastructure to make testing and debugging simpler
- Working with cross geographical R&D engineering and QA teams
Your qualification
- BS/MS/MCA in Computer Science with 4 – 7 years of working experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of large complex software systems to isolate defects, reproduce defects, assess risk and understand varied customer deployments
- Good database and operating system knowledge
- Great coding skills : Java, Python, SQL
- Write moderately complex code/scripts to test systems
- Prior experience in API testing and technologies such as TestNG and/or JUnit
- Experience with automation frameworks using Java
- Experience in the Big Data (Hadoop) will be a Plus.
