Position Title: GVP, Sales

External Description:

We're currently looking for a GVP Solution Sales with experience leading a team of product line Sales teams of Cloud, MDM, and IPaaS solutions which are charged with selling our full suite of offerings to accounts. You will drive and support the end-to-end sales execution of these sales specialist teams across the Americas region.  

Summary 

As our GVP Solution Sales, you will manage and be responsible for the sales execution of the fastest-growing product line at Informatica. You are expected to increase Informatica's product line's revenue and market share by successfully identifying customer opportunities and crafting a winning sales strategy in collaboration with the direct field sales organization to close high-value deals. In the role of GVP Solution Sales, you must work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment. You must have a strong sales background in Cloud Integrations, platform or MDM sales, executive-level communication, the ability to collaborate with field teams, and leadership skills that align with the Informatica values. 

Day-to-day Duties? Here's What You'll Be Doing

  • Revenue Generation: Develop and manage strategic customers to drive pipeline build, opportunity qualification, support close rate, and revenue growth
  • Sales Leadership: Hire, develop, train, and scale the organization
  • Lead and drive exceptional sales and operational execution and establish initiatives to penetrate the market, achieve sales goals, and leverage sales assets to drive and grow net/new sales for the Product line 
  • Leads and executes strategy for the America sales specialist organization
  • Create and implement strategic go-to-market plans to meet overall company growth and market share goals
  • Function as a change agent and demonstrate the ability to uphold the standards consistent with a robust pipeline management system that leverages its relevant performance data
  • Act as a strategic thought leader and advisor to the SVP of America and broader Executive Team; serve as a true business leader and general manager. 
  • Work closely with functions and regions across the organization to establish and develop a solid and collaborative partnership to ensure continued success
  • Serve as a visionary for the company and cultivate innovation, articulating a compelling, long-term vision for the future and inspiring others to action.

Key Essentials 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Comfort to travel to domestic customer locations and industry events 

What We'd Like to See

  • 12+ yrs. of sales leadership experience managing a team 
  • Proven track record of managing 1st and 2nd line teams of enterprise software specialists within the application integration, MDM, or Cloud industry 
  • Experience in solution prioritization, design, development, and sales execution
  • Technical leader, who leads from the front with largest clients in both sales as well as with escalations
  • Adept at strategic planning through complex situations and market environments to align the organization to corporate strategy and objectives
