Informatica Tools Administrator 

Key Skills

  • Must have 4 years of experience in Developer/ Administration activities related Informatica and advance tools of informatica
  • Must have good experience in administrative activities on Informatica 10.x architecture platform, configure add and manage Informatica and its advanced components.
  • Should be able to suggest the best suitable informatica architecture & configuration, sizing for servers in various environments.
  • Should be well versed with ETL concepts and expertise on Informatica tool 10.x

Qualifications: 

  • Must have 4 years of experience in Developer/ Administration activities related to Informatica tools
  • Design, develop, maintain, monitor and execute production ETL processes using Informatica IICS 

(CDI/CAI/CDQ).  

  • Investigate production ETL issues / problems
  • Mapping database sources to specified data formats
  • Verify and validate ETL deliverables
  • Lead troubleshooting episodes and communicate solutions/resolutions to the team
  • Translate concepts to requirements, and development into an automated production process
  • Act as a subject matter expert and resource for others on assigned ETL processes
  • Complete projects and development activities timely and accurately while following the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Suggest changes and enhancements for ETL processes
  • Must have good experience in administrative activities on Informatica 10.x architecture platform, configure add and manage Informatica and its advanced components.
  • Should be able to suggest the best suitable informatica architecture & configuration, sizing for servers in various environments.
  • Define and set up platform best practices for users, privileges, roles, and permissions. Assign users to groups, privileges to roles and roles to groups. Assign permissions and manage the domain.
  • Should be able to manage repositories and repository folders. Should be aware of backup and migration process of Informatica domain database.
  • Should be well versed with ETL concepts and expertise on Informatica tool 10x.
  • Need someone with a zeal to learn new technologies
  • Good hold with Linux and shell scripting
  • Excellent Communication and Analytical Skills

Requirements:

  • Informatica IICS and advance tools experience - 4 years 
  • Strong knowledge of database design and entity relations
  • Datawarehouse and ETL knowledge
  • Bachelor degree in CS/IS or related field
