Position Title: Principal Software Engineer IT Applications

Informatica is currently looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer with hands-on experience with APEX Classes, Rest APIs, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Components, LWC, Batch Apex, Scheduler with a good understanding of Sales Cloud & CPQ. The Senior Salesforce Developer will be working closely with the Stakeholders, Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, and Business Analysts for various project deliverables.
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for developing mission-critical global systems, working on technical escalations, root cause analysis (RCA), and other related incident response functions. In addition, you must be able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment with strong technical, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Renewals, Product & IT Technical team members, and Sr. stakeholders to understand and analyze requirements, objectives, and processes to provide strategic & scalable solutions
- Develop POC on new concepts, features, and functionalities for customers across marketing, sales, and renewals
- Create a design to identify best solutions on Salesforce.com for various business functions, including Lead to Opportunity, Quote to Order, Partner Sales, Renewals based on the standards and patterns accepted as the norm at Informatica. Defends designs effectively in solution governance.
- Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices, Provide oversight and development assistance to junior staff within the team. Conduct code and config reviews to ensure build quality in projects
- Prepare Technical Design documents for complex projects involving custom integrations, data migration and with high traffic and large data volume for optimal performance and best in class user experience
- Review & compare different technical solutions and applications/tools, and recommend the best considering security, performance, scalability, and maintainability of solutions on Salesforce
- Introduce new technical design patterns and frameworks to standardize and streamline development on the Salesforce.com platform for scale and performance
- Maintains expertise in an area that involves both technical and functional domains (Like Salesforce Sales Cloud and Lightning). Contributes to the standards definition and updates as well as review artifacts.
- Significantly contribute to initiatives that elevate the team's expertise on a given platform (i.e., unit test automation frameworks for UI, building CI/CD pipeline, Impact analysis framework for better analysis).
Knowledge & Skills
- Seasoned, experienced professional with a complete understanding of specialization who resolves wide ranges of issues creatively.
- Experience designing and developing complex solutions on SFDC Sales Cloud and CPQ Experience
- Experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, LWC, Aura, CPQ, QCP, Force.com IDE, Migration Tools, Web Services
- Works on problems of diverse scope where solution typically involves a complex set of factors and may span multiple functional sales modules.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Expand skills and practical knowledge by routinely working with experts in the field and outside the immediate team/area/segment.
- As part of the global model, it requires working with offshore resources
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence a large organization and grow within a team
Education/Experience
- BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
