Position Title: Lead IT Business Systems Analyst

External Description:

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships throughout the business and IT, leveraging your thorough understanding of CPQ business processes and its value proposition for our company.  You are capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously across multiple technologies. You are capable of understanding the big picture, including best practices for the business and IT groups, and have the ability to apply a disciplined and detail-oriented approach to execution.

This is a hybrid position: you will work out of the Austin Texas office a min, of 2 days per week

You will be the lead go-to person representing IT, working with the Product owners, and collaborating with business groups in Sales, Marketing, and Global IT Development organizations, helping to drive and support our Sales strategies for our global business. 

Informatica is a fast-paced organization that is growing rapidly. It should be expected that the scope of this position will evolve. Below is a partial representation of what may be included in the Business Systems Analyst's typical responsibilities:

  • Establishing yourself as the lead business systems analyst providing configuration, administration and support of Informatica’s CPQ business processes and Salesforce CPQ system
  • Representing the IT team and working closely with business teams to understand the business landscape, technical guidelines and best practices
  • Building strong relationships among the business and IT team, managing customer expectations and translating requirements into effective business solutions
  • Managing and coordinating vendor support, in conjunction with our global team where necessary, for project deployments and critical operational issues. 
  • Managing and communicating the status of deliverables, issues and risks across multiple work streams.
  • Coordinate testing (with business stakeholders), reviewing test scenarios and test scripts, facilitating SIT, UAT and sign-off
  • Create business requirements documentation with appropriate sign-off

Your Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience working as a Lead Business Systems Analyst
  • Previous experience working with development teams configuring, implementing and supporting Salesforce’ CPQ application (Steelbrick) preferred, Apttus or Big Machines
  • Previous experience supporting and developing solutions on the salesforce.com platform (Salesforce Advanced Admin certification a plus, Salesforce Admin certification required)
  • Proven experience ensuring quality deliverables, including writing test scripts, validating technical deliverables, facilitating UAT and sign-off
  • Google/AWS Marketplace knowledge for product configuration is a plus
  • Work with key business stakeholders to document and validate business objectives and requirements
  • Manage communications and coordinate discussions between Product Managers and business stakeholders
  • Work closely with Product Manager to translate and clarify business requirements for technical team
  • Participate as an active member of the team on solution design: represent end-user perspective in discussions with Product Managers, Engineers and Admins
  • Coordinate testing (with business stakeholders), including drafting test scenarios, facilitating, demos, UAT and sign-off
  • Create and coordinate sharing of business requirements and technical documentation
  • Provide training to key business stakeholders
  • Serve as first level of support for business users

  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred
