Position Title: Systems Engineer Architect

External Description:

Informatica is currently looking for an IT Systems Architect with broad experience across multiple technology platforms to join our team in Redwood City, CA or Austin, TX 

You are able to develop and execute an integrated architectural view of and strategy for our enterprise-wide portfolio of solutions.  This includes but is not limited to experience with diverse business models and enterprise transformation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Align the IT strategy and planning with the company’s business goals by evaluating the current architecture to detect critical deficiencies, recommend solutions for improvement
  • Must have the ability to work across the R&D organization to integrate product development solutions with operational capabilities.  Leverage IICS and other BPM solutions to provide seamless customer experience.  Develop common API framework to encourage flexibility and autonomy.
  • Optimize information management approaches through an understanding of evolving business needs and technology capabilities; drive innovation, concept assessments, industry benchmarking analysis, risk analysis, business case development and approval for technologies (cost benefit)
  • Identify complex technical solutions with end to end focus across Oracle, SFDC, Workday, and Adobe platforms.
  • Technical leadership across web technologies (AEM, Java, REST, SOAP, etc)
  • Drive innovation and transformation by embracing and promoting change, including hands-on coaching, leading by example, and constant communication
  • Maintains an ongoing partnership with business management to apply in-depth knowledge of the business operations, strategies, priorities and information requirements to establish the technical direction at an enterprise view
  • Promotion and delivery of shared Cloud Infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows. Ensure that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies
  • Ensures the development and adoption of processes and standards to develop, maintain and integrate enterprise architectures within the process of strategy development and technology planning 

Key deliverables may include:

  • Transformational roadmaps encompassing process, system, policy and/or organizational changes to achieve goals
  • Using architecture to provide leadership during the annual strategic planning process
  • Mentoring and leading other enterprise architects to across both business and system transformations   

Your Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience in complex environments; experience in an enterprise software company attractive
  • Minimum of 6 or more years of progressively responsible management experience in enterprise architecture planning
  • Expertise with cloud marketplace integration (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with web search technologies (Coveo, Google), web reporting (clickstream, Adobe analytics), and data Integration (IICS)
  • Experienced in leading successful development and implementation of large complex programs / projects with cross-functional representation
  • Thorough understanding of business processes and capabilities across the enterprise in corporate support functions such as marketing, sales, professional services, finance, human resources, etc.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to assess the current state against the target state with a perspective on the big picture and future vision
  • Experience in writing PL/SQL statements with a good understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP table structures and being able to query the backend for troubleshooting/data validations
  • Experience using Salesforce data tools, Salesforce Lightning platform, dashboards and SOQL writing skills
  • EA framework knowledge required (BOST, TOGAF, Zachman, etc); experience in an Agile development environment preferred
  • Enterprise software platforms (Oracle Cloud ERP, Salesforce, Workday, Adobe AEM)
  • Functional platforms in support of critical operations (Clari, Marketo, Altify, etc)
  • Information Security experience in practical implementations
  • Experience with various development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile), inclusive of user story development and Jira workflow.
  • Highly effective communicator and presenter with a track record of presenting both internally and externally at industry events and tradeshows
  • Well-honed influencing and negotiating skills; able to bring together disparate points of view; can bridge business and technical insights and perspectives
  • Able to take ownership and responsibility for actions, behaviors and contributors; proven customer service delivery capabilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting business and its ideal and strategies; ability to remain neutral toward technology, vendor and product choices—more interested in results than in personal preferences
  • Excellent project and program management planning and organizational skills; able to work in a dynamic environment and meet critical deadlines, exercising flexibility and decision making as appropriate
  • Experience working on at least one of the different Salesforce Modules (Sales, Service, Billing, Revenue, Financial Force, CPQ) and Oracle Cloud ERP Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Revenue Management, Financial Planning and Consolidation, Tax) on a techno-functional capacity
  • Metrics oriented and metrics driven; knowledge of financial modeling as it pertains to strategic investment; always seeking the best means/methods to achieve the best results
  • Integration technology experience in a customer facing setting is a must
