Software Engineer Intern

 

As a QA & Automation Intern, you will be responsible for developing automated tests and manual testing. In the role of QA & Automation Intern, you must be able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Working as the QA & Automation Intern you must have strong technical, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

Technology You’ll Use

  • Java, JavaScript, Angular, React, Docker, Jenkins, MySQL, Cloud Providers (AWS, AZURE, GCP)

What You’ll Do

  • You will work with other team members to develop and test Informatica’s microservices based cloud product.
  • You will develop automated tests
  • You will perform manual tests

Key Essentials

  • Student in the field of Software Engineering/Computer Science/Electronic Engineering or other exact sciences from a leading university
  • Availability for at least 3 days a week – 60%-80% position
  • Self-driven and independent
  • Great interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Basic OOP and Java knowledge

What Does Success Look Like?

  • Your automated tests will assist to replace manual tests
  • Your tests will improve Informatica’s products quality

Nice to Have

  • Coding capabilities – Advantage
  • Good knowledge of LINUX – Advantage
  • Familiar with Cloud providers and services (AWS, AZURE, GCP) – Advantage
  • Proven experience in QA or QA automation – Big advantage
