Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

  • Motivate, shape, engage and retain a team of Sales Development professionals that generate prospective customers through outbound prospecting and qualify leads
  • Manages team of Sales Development staff responsible for screening of potential new and existing business deals through analyzing current market strategies, business potential, financials, and deal requirements
  • Collaborate and work closely with Field Sales, Business Development, PreSales, Marketing and Alliances to review sales execution plans and execute strategy
  • Responsible for market development, setting targets, and ensuring that revenue is generated
  • Analyze key reports and sales analytics to make recommendations on how to improve individual team performance
  • Provide ongoing coaching and execute career development and leadership plans
  • Leverage solution enablement and sales training to consistently increase performance and drive professional growth
  • Holds self and team accountable for timely documentation within CRM / Marketing software of customer contact and activity data

Key Essentials

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Enthusiastic leader with demonstrated ability to lead and compel others to achieve objectives
  • Ability to independently determine an approach to managing team and daily operations
  • Uses experienced leadership skills to manage, mentor, and influence the work of others within the sales team
  • Identifies selects and grows team by imparting knowledge transfer and developing staff as individuals and as a team
  • Delivers upon strategic initiatives and communicates adeptly across the organization
  • Demonstrated industry knowledge and understanding of a customer’s decision-making process, goals, strategies, and business objectives
  • Stellar presentation, customer service, financial/business acumen, negotiation, and executive presence skills
  • Functional knowledge in hybrid software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, Big Data, and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products
