Mainframe developer - zSeries

We are looking for an individual with basic zSeries knowledge who will be receiving additional mentoring from the apprenticeship sponsor on an ongoing basis while also participating in day-to-day activities with Informatica.

You will report to the Principal Architect.

As a mainframe developer, you will be part of the Database Ingestion and Replication team.

Technology You'll Use

Assembler, DB2, VSAM, CICS, zSeries, IMS

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Learning and contributing to zSeries Assembler coding
• Learning and contributing to IMS-related projects
• Learning and contributing to DB2-related projects
• Learning and contributing to VSAM and CICS-related projects
• Potentially also learning C, C++, and Java development
• Reporting to the local development leader.

What We'd Like to See

Experience with Assembler and zSeries.

Role Essentials

• Preferably BS in Computer Science or related fields.
• Basic zSeries knowledge as provided by the apprenticeship sponsor
• A genuine desire to work with IBM zSeries
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant professional experience with undergrad degree or professional training
• BA/BS or equivalent educational background
