Position Summary

This position reports to the Senior Manager, North America Marketing Development

Today, our North America Market Development team is comprised of ~15 people, and the hub is in in Austin, TX while some members work remotely.  As the leader of this time, you will continue to evolve our world-class MDR organization, aligned with Marketing and Sales, to ensure that no lead is left behind and that we drive quality pipeline in our target accounts.

Here's What You'll Be Doing:

• Market the company’s products and/or services via telephone with inbound prospects
• Gather information and answer questions typically generated by local and/or national advertising and prepare appropriate documentation
• Identify qualified sales opportunities in large, enterprise accounts
• Utilize your account/opportunity qualification skills to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline goals
• Interact with IT and business decision-makers via telephone and email
• Nurture early phase opportunities for future pipeline potential and set qualified introductory meetings for the Sales team
• Work on routine support tasks that require infrequent deviation from established processes and procedure
• Prepare activity and forecast reports
• Update lead and prospect activity in salesforce.com to ensure effective lead management
• Mail marketing/sales literature to prospective customers, keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as competitive posture of the company, and enhance awareness in the targeted business community of the company and its products/services

Key Essentials:

• College Diploma
• Drive to exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly lead development quota
• Ability to apply learned skills and make recommendations in situations not covered by defined work parameters
• Collaborates well with others to achieve team objectives

Nice to Have:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience 
• Increasing exposure to hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products
