Description

We are currently looking for a Manager - Software Quality  to join the Cloud Data Engineering team in Redwood City, California. 

Job Summary
The Cross IDMC quality team is responsible for end-to-end quality of Informatica IDMC platform stack. As manager quality, you will have the opportunity to drive technical excellence at all levels, working with cross-functional teams to develop end user scenarios and help build cross product telemetry and functional observability dashboards. In this role of manager quality, you must have expertise in software testing methodologies and managing testing teams. You will be working with peer quality leaders, field teams and facilitate the appropriate communication channels across teams.  You need to be able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment, and drive teams cross multiple time zones. 

Day-to-day Duties? Here's What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage a team of high performant software testing engineers
  • Lead the design and development of test scenarios and dashboards based on functional and non-functional specifications
  • Collaborate effectively with peer quality managers and architects to solve complex problems
  • Participate actively in functional, system and regression test planning activities
  • Collaborate, influence, and communicate effectively with customer support, sales/pre-sales and field teams
  • Drive the technical processes/best practices in software testing. 

Technology You’ll Use:

  • Strong knowledge in RDBMS and experience writing SQL scripts
  • Strong working knowledge in Unix/Windows Operating system
  • Experience in developing test cases by using Junit/TestNG/Selenium
  • Knowledge in testing micro service architectures in sizing, resiliency, rolling deployment/upgrade
  • Experience in build, release/deployment, manual processes, and workflows

Key Essentials

  • 10+ years of experience in Software Quality
  • 3+ years of Quality leadership experience
  • Experience with software quality automation frameworks
  • Proficient in all areas of Software Development and Agile Methodologies
  • BS degree in a related field, MS preferred
