Principal DevSecOps Engineer

We're looking for an Principal DevSecOps Engineer candidate with experience in Cloud Security and Automation.

location : Remote - US

You will report to the Manager, Security Engineering

You will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of security services that support Informatica products.

Technology You'll Use

 

• Cloud Computing Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Scripting skills - Python
• IAM across Cloud Computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Experience with containers and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• CI/CD pipelines from security perspective. Including but not limited to Terraform, Ansible, and Git Repository.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Work with security engineering management to grow the vision, product roadmap and build products/applications/services per requirements.
• Leads and executes complex initiatives that drive problem resolution.
• Design and build public cloud security frameworks, designing multi-account strategy and centralized security for product controls that leverage serverless technologies.
• Provide subject matter expertise during internal and 3rd party assessments.
• Support the K8s Vulnerability Management technologies across Informatica.
• Support the IAM technologies, processes, and operations for the Fedramp environment.
• Collaborate with teams in evolving design, development, and deployment practices.
• Perform research on various technologies and evaluate how they can be integrated within Informatica to improve cloud security process, and/or posture of the cloud security program.
• Work closely with Operations, IT, and Engineering to remediate security findings or close out security incidents.
• Mentor and coach team members to further develop competencies.

What We'd Like to See

• Cyber Security certification. (CISSP, CCSK, CISM)
• Cloud service provider certification. (Architect, DevOps, Security)
• Programming Certification (Python, Java)
• Experience building containerized applications.
• Experience with regulatory requirements, including Fedramp and SOC2.

Role Essentials

• 5 + years of technical experience in security engineering with 3+ years of experience in building cloud native/services/platforms.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Secure by design approach with strong knowledge of cloud service provider security best practices (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Hands-on experience architecting, automating, maintaining, and securing Cloud Computing Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Expert scripting skills.
• Proficient in managing IAM across Cloud Computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Strong experience with containers and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of the components within CI/CD pipelines. Including but not limited to Terraform, Ansible, and Git Repository.
• Advanced understanding of DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Firm grasp of API strategies, design patterns and best practices.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience
