Director Professional Services, Central

Develop the Professional Services business within the Central region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Accountability for overall delivery of engagements as well, directly or through subordinate Portfolio/Delivery Managers or Consulting Managers. You will have sales results accountability and responsibility for developing, and closing delivery engagements in the region and for working with sales account teams to provide a seamless experience is brought to market. You will be a field sales/delivery leadership position and may require travel up to 50%, or greater.

You will report to the VP of Professionals Services.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Forecast revenue and manage consultant utilization and expense budgets, partnering with Finance to ensure accurate invoicing and credit control.
  • Management responsibilities include capacity planning, recruitment, development and retention of Professional Services resources
  • Client management responsibilities include client identification, problem/need identification, proposal development, presentation and close, and post-delivery follow-up.
  • Help with the vision, strategy, planning and communication of Professional Services activities.
  • Develop operational and tactical plans to deliver strategic goals.
  • Hold self and team accountable for documentation within CRM of customer contact and activity data
  • Identify and close services deals with all clients and develop follow on business.
  • Find and address risks during bid development and project execution.
  • Manage projects ensuring compliance with legal, contract, financial and visa / immigration requirements.
  • Negotiate services contracts with customers and legal support.
  • Oversee all projects to a high standard ensuring scope definition, resource allocation and management, interface with client managers, and cost/schedule monitoring.
  • Manage client satisfaction related to Professional Services activities.
  • Nurture career development, managing performance, and pay discussions of team members.
  • Achieve the financial targets set for the region
  • Will manage teams focused on multiple sales segments/markets, or countries.

What We'd Like to See

  • Use expert leadership skill in collaboration and prioritization to direct and influence operations and results in the region and team(s).
  • Experienced in managing teams spread across multiple countries
  • Adept at setting and driving strategic programs in the functional area, and influencing at higher tiers of the organization.
  • Expert-level industry understanding of a customer's decision-making process, goals, strategies, and goals.
  • Great at C-level audience presentations, financial knowledge, executive presence, and mentoring of subordinate managers and sales staff.
  • Independently determine approach to managing team and daily operations.
  • Create an environment that promotes the development of talent, and planning for future talent our needs.

Role Essentials

  • Expert level knowledge in the sale/delivery of hybrid software solutions and Data Management software concepts and products.
  • Technical awareness of data management concepts and driving customer value and success (Informatica experience),
  • Experience with the German, Austrian and Swiss marketplaces, with a focus on Germany as the largest economy.
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Routinely a manager of managers
