Area Vice President - Enterprise East

The AVP, Enterprise Sales - West will improve sales growth for Informatica's customers across the West Enterprise Region. This AVP will be a second-line leader of a growing sales organization of Regional Sales Directors and Account Executives to help build complex enterprise cloud transactions. The AVP will grow revenue, identifying opportunities, hiring account executives and managing at both a strategic and operational level.

You will report to the Global Vice President, Sales - Enterprise.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Manage to a strategic and comprehensive business plan for the assigned region, segment, or vertical, to be delivered upon by subordinate, direct report sales leaders and their teams.
  • Accountable for accurate forecasting and delivering on regular quarterly revenue targets
  • Spend time visiting existing customers and building new customer relationships, typically at the executive level within the accounts.
  • Develop relationships with executive team members within Informatica and develop Partner relationships within the assigned sales region.
  • Contribute to the quota setting process for their subordinate sales leaders.
  • Collaborate with other responsibilities to resolve escalations/customer issues quickly.
  • Nurture career development, managing performance, and pay discussions within their organization.
  • Hold self and team accountable for documentation within CRM / Marketing software of customer contact and activity data (e.g. names, titles, contact information, opportunity value, product information, sales stages, probability, business pain, firm-future commitments).

  • Use long-term goals and strategy to guide work and direct the work of others, where erroneous decisions will have a serious impact on the success of our operations.
  • Motivate and mentors team members through leadership presence and demeanor.
  • Use succession planning and knowledge of future organizational talent need to develop subordinate leaders.

Role Essentials

  • Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background required
  • Organization or Segment Leader
