Corporate Marketing Writer- remote

We're currently looking for a Corporate Marketing Writer to oversee all aspects of our brand voice across our marketing materials that will captivate, educate, and engage prospective buyers, customers, and influencers. The Corporate Marketing Writer will support programs that raise visibility of our company's market leadership, innovation and thought leadership in cloud data management, and reinforce our brand positioning, messaging, and ensure our brand ethos is cohesive, provocative, and memorable. Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Strategy, Corporate Marketing Writer will have extensive experience in copywriting and editing for a variety of digital formats including search-optimized corporate collateral, advertising, social and website copy.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with channel owners, content writers, product marketing teams, and agencies to drive consistent quality, voice, and style for copy across all digital and brand touchpoints.
  • Partner with content strategists to develop strategies and messaging for our digital personas, page templates, and components.
  • Maintain high standards of copywriting, editing and proofing and contribute to continual improvements in copy quality and the content development process.
  • Understand our brand narrative and how to match messaging to the right audience (customers, prospects, partners, developers) to support the user journey.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and project leads to understand requirements, source information meet deadlines and secure approvals to ultimately marry content and visual design.
  • Create on-strategy copy for use on websites and media campaigns, ensuring copy will effectively support conversion goals and objectives
  • Work with media team to refine campaign and ad-unit copy (banners, videos, paid search, social posts)
  • Partner with SEO to ensure copy meets strategic needs for organic visibility without negatively impacting the quality of storytelling
  • Present work and sell through rationale to key stakeholders
  • Write in U.S. English for global audiences, considering localization and translation needs upfront to limit the need for costly rewriting later.

Role Essentials

  • 8+ years of writing experience for B2B technology companies or agencies.
  • A portfolio demonstrating relevant and inspired work.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in planning, writing, editing, and managing a diverse portfolio of content including both short-form and long-form content.BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Solid understanding of website design, content SEO, digital marketing, global technology companies, IT sector, and SaaS-based software.
  • Digital-first style and a user-centric, strategy-based approach to writing.
  • Strong communication, relationship building, and collaboration skills with proven ability to work across many departments to solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with a global to regional operating model
