Director, Leadership & Professional Development

This is a hybrid role based at Informatica's headquarters in Redwood City, CA. (2 days a week in the office)

The Leadership and Professional Development Director will help lead the ongoing growth and development of Informatica employees through the design, development, facilitation, and delivery of programs and content focused on leadership, career development, team building, and onboarding. A strong focus for this role will be the design and execution of a new leadership development program for our senior leadership team. Overall responsibilities will be accomplished by:

  • Facilitating and/or co-facilitating globally aligned, standardized training programs and workshops for leaders, managers, and front-line employees
  • Design and develop training materials that support identified training needs
  • Diagnose and analyze development needs and providing effective and innovative solutions that are based on best practices; delivering internally or sourcing external providers, as appropriate.
  • Conducting needs analysis and designing training solutions
  • Own the program components required for successful training delivery
  • Delivering content through a variety of mediums, which may include in person Instructor Led Training, virtual live training via Zoom, instructional design of eLearning modules, and resource creation and knowledge sharing

You will report to the VP, Global Talent Management & Leadership Development.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Design and deliver leadership and professional development programs, including the oversight of class nomination process, behavioral assessment completion process, 360 evaluation process, program logistics, and program evaluation and tracking
  • Manage the metrics related to leadership and professional development programs, including correlations to career development goals, promotions, and retention across the organization
  • Deliver standardized content for existing leadership, managerial, and front-line training programs
  • Create meaningful partnerships and manage vendor relationships and contracts
  • Develop and deliver content for training programs that supports career development for leaders, managers, front-line employees and teams, including workbooks, PowerPoints, facilitator guides, job aids, learning tools and resources
  • Support career growth and development across business units through needs assessment and customized content development and facilitation where needed
  • Serve as a cohort coac

What We'd Like to See

  • Demonstrated facilitation expertise and experience in delivering training content across various levels of the organization (front-line to executive level)
  • Experience developing and delivering senior-level leadership content
  • Proven experience in designing and developing training content, including all supporting materials and resources
  • Demonstrated capability in conducting needs assessments and designing appropriate training solutions
  • Expert ability to develop and maintain a network of relationships throughout the organization
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, preferably with university partners
  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior leaders as sponsors of leadership programs
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a hybrid and virtual team environment
  • In-depth understanding of a range of training development models and adult learning theories
  • Proven track record of a high commitment to quality outcomes from learning and development interventions

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Development, Business, Education, or a related field.
  • 10-15+ years relevant experience, including significant experience in Leadership and Professional Development program design, development and delivery
  • Strong platform skills and experience delivering front-line, managerial and leadership program training content
  • In-depth experience in content design, development, and training delivery in various modalities, including Instructor-Led, Web-Based Training, remote-learning, and coaching
  • Experience working with a range of leader and employee populations
