Competitive Intelligence Manager

We're looking for a Competitive intelligence Manager candidate with experience in market research and analysis and the ability to synthesize cohesive stories and actionable intelligence from research studies to join our team in Dublin (Ireland) / Maidenhead (UK).

You will report to the Sr. Manager, Competitive Intelligence.

You will provide market research and analysis of the company's markets, competition, and product mix.

This is a hybrid role.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Conduct research studies and makes presentations on new market areas and future market conditions.
  • Analyze the competitive environment sales records, market penetration, market potential, and future trends and makes recommendations based on findings.
  • Develop competitive intelligence sales tools that support business development and help drive revenue.
  • Impart experience in the development and maintenance of up-to-date actionable tools (sales messaging, heat maps and responses, battle cards, internal and external presentations, etc.), with a view toward improving sales effectiveness.
  • Prepare reports on core competitive metrics – win and incident rates, trends, win/loss analyses, etc. via static reports and/or dynamic dashboards.
  • Provide trend updates and relevant information for supported product lines and markets.

  • Proficiency in conducting comprehensive market research, analyzing industry trends, and evaluating competitors to provide strategic insights.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, including the ability to interpret complex data sets, extract meaningful conclusions, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • A deep understanding of the B2B enterprise software market, including key players, emerging technologies, and market dynamics.
  • Competitor Analysis: Experience in evaluating competitor strategies, strengths, and weaknesses to identify market opportunities and threats.
  • Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to gather a well-rounded view of the market landscape.
  • Ability to forecast market trends, demand, and potential business impacts based on gathered data and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment with overall team goals.
  • A commitment to staying updated on industry trends, research methodologies, and evolving technologies to enhance the quality of market analysis.

Role Essentials

  • Advanced ability to create cohesive story and actionable intelligence from research studies performed in-house or externally.
  • Proficiency in interpretation of sales records, measuring market penetration, market potential, and other important facets to predict future trends.
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience
