Senior Manager, Cloud Security Engineering

We're looking for a senior manager-cloud security engineering candidate with experience in cloud and security, to join our team in Redwood City, CA/hybrid (2 to 3 days a week)

You will report to the Director, Cloud Security

 

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Grow, develop, manage, and lead a multidisciplinary team of seasoned software engineers, system engineers, and security engineers across all aspects of Security
• Advise engineering and operations leadership on Informatica' s security vision through regular and consistent written and in-person communication
• Envision and build security self-service tooling to support adoption of security practices
• Translate complex security and compliance requirements into technical control within the security infrastructure.
• Develop and provide metrics to the senior leadership of the top security risks and health of their respective organizations
• Drive adoption of security embedded in application and platform teams through training, awareness, and integration of security principles into CI/CD pipelines
• Develop InfoSec-related training programs and materials for the company and team members serving as SMEs
• Oversee the evaluation, selection, and implementation of information security tools.

What We'd Like to See

• 10+ years delivering holistic security architecture solutions across cloud services and infrastructure (network, compute, and internet).
• Previous leadership experience of directly managing an organization of 4+ senior-level individual contributors and/or managers with the ability to recruit, hire, upskill, lead, and scale teams.
• Understanding of modern cloud technology components and deployment patterns: virtual machines, containers, Kubernetes, server less, infrastructure as code, etc

• BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience

• Minimum 12+ years of relevant professional experience
• Manages operational responsibilities of staff or individual contributors
