Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Process Optimization: Lead the evaluation, refinement, and optimization of our software development processes, including requirements gathering, coding standards, testing methodologies, and deployment strategies.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of software iterations.
  • Tooling and Automation: Research, select, and implement the best development tools, frameworks, and automation solutions to improve developer workflows, enhance collaboration, and improve code quality. Code Quality Assurance: Develop and implement strategies to ensure code quality and reliability, including code reviews, static code analysis, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Infrastructure Management: Collaborate with DevOps engineers to manage and improve development infrastructure, including version control systems, build servers, testing environments, and cloud platforms.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to junior engineers and development teams, promoting a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance, resource use, and scalability of development environments, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about new technologies, trends, and best practices in software development, DevOps, and productivity engineering, and apply them to enhance our development processes. Collaboration: Collaborate with software development teams, DevOps engineers, QA testers, product managers, and other partners to align development efforts with our goals and priorities.

  • Your role is important to implementing modern tools, refining processes, and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • You'll collaborate with teams, providing technical leadership and expertise to inspire creativity and excellence across our development lifecycle.

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development, DevOps, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Harness or CircleCI.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git (GitHub, GitLabs)
  • Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience with automating the build process of complex production software systems.
  • Have proficiency with Configuration management system like Ansible / Chef.
  • Understanding of REST API concepts, basic security and authentication principles, API authentication models and SDLC concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and logging tools such as Splunk.
  • And the ability to coach junior team members.
