Partner Sales Manager - Japan

We're looking for a Partner Sales Manager candidate to join our team in Tokyo, Japan (hybrid work model).

You will report to the Country Manager.

You will identify key account/business relationships with key Partner Alliances, GSIs, and ISVs to develop solutions and create complementary products/services to produce sales opportunities.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Promote the evolution of the global partner ecosystem by expanding commercial reach, opening new markets, and driving channel revenue
  • Negotiate and close large-scale deals for channel business
  • Use empathetic leadership when managing individual contributor Alliance/Partnership Specialists within the organization; this is a meaningful and growing partner sales team
  • Forecast results and opportunities, and provide quantitative and qualitative input for strategic decisions
  • Monitor competitor activity in accounts and implements strategies to maintain account ownership and prevent competitor advancement
  • Build revenue plans with partners and roll up forecasts, with company sales leadership
  • Hold yourself and your team accountable for applicable documentation within CRM / Marketing software of customer contact and activity data
  • Influence the business unit and company-level strategy

What We'd Like to See

  • Proven ability to excel in executing strategic initiatives within the functional area and effectively influence senior levels of the organization.
  • Expert-level industry knowledge of a customer's decision-making process, goals, strategies, and goals
  • Experience with C-level audience presentations, financial experience, and mentoring of subordinate managers and sales staff
  • Experience with building modern indirect sales ecosystems with both scale and under growth targets, while incentivizing the channel to increase revenue in a cloud-based environment

Role Essentials

  • 8 + years of relevant professional experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background
