The Informatica Leadership & Professional (L&PD) team, plays a pivotal role in building the future of Informatica by developing and facilitating training workshops across various levels of the organization, contributing significantly to the success of our customer's and partner’s needs.

This role is based in Bangalore, India. It is a hybrid model (2-3 days’ work from office). However, evolving business needs will require flexibility accordingly.

You will be reporting to Manager Leadership & Professional Development

Your Opportunity

You will have the opportunity to work side by side with some of the top talent in the industry. As a skilled facilitator, you will coordinate, support, and help facilitate learning interventions within the L&PD India team.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Training Facilitator who is skilled in delivering engaging training sessions, creating high-quality PowerPoint presentations, and utilizing advanced Excel features for data analysis and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong training coordination and facilitation skills, the ability to adapt to various learning styles, and a passion for improving employee performance through effective learning programs.

Job Responsibilities

Learning logistics Support & Coordination

Support in scheduling and logistics (scheduling workshops, sending invites, creating and sharing feedback forms, communication with instructors, participants, etc.)

LMS Management

LMS management (upkeep of participants, workshop data on the central LMS)

Update and manage the L&PD Calendar

Training Delivery

Facilitate interactive and engaging in-person and virtual training sessions for employees (CDS & People Insights)

Content Development (PowerPoint)

Collaborate with the Learning & Professional Development team to develop, design, and refine training content, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and industry best practices.

Advanced Excel for Training Analysis

Utilize Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, concatenate, macros, data visualization, etc.) and other advanced tools to create detailed reports, track training metrics, and analyze performance data.       

LPD reports and dashboards

Support in analyzing and preparing meaningful reports and LPD dashboards

Feedback and Continuous Improvement

Create and share feedback forms for post-workshop feedback from participants

Team Meetings

Attend regular team calls and meetings with our Global L&PD team & India HR team

L&PD Projects

Support evolving L&PD team needs across projects on a business need basis

Work on establishing and improving KPIs around L&PD Success

Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in training (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance, Train-the-Trainer) would be an added advantage

Experience

5-6 years of experience in a training coordinator and facilitator role or a similar position. Experience with corporate training, adult learning principles, and instructional design is highly preferred.

Excellent at planning and coordinating multiple training sessions, ensuring that materials, schedules, and logistics are well-organized. Manages time efficiently to keep sessions on track while allowing for questions and engagement.

Attention to Detail

Thoroughly developing accurate, high-quality training materials and tracking program effectiveness. Attentive to the specific needs and progress of participants to ensure successful learning outcomes.

Confidence and Poise

Comfortable presenting in front of groups, maintaining a professional and confident demeanor. Able to manage large groups or difficult situations with composure.

Creativity and Innovation

Able to design engaging, interactive, and relevant training content that captures the audience’s interest. Thinks outside the box to find new ways to facilitate learning and solve problems.

Problem-Solving Ability

Quickly address challenges or obstacles during training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to learning. Able to anticipate and proactively solve logistical issues in training coordination.
