Marketing Automation Manager

The Marketing Automation Manager will design, implement, and optimize strategies to boost lead generation, nurture prospects, and foster customer retention

You will report to the Senior Manager of Automation.

You will have an in-depth understanding of Informatica's solutions, coupled with expertise in marketing technology platforms, data analytics, and customer lifecycle management.

Technology You'll Use

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical skillset, strategic outlook, and the ability to collaborate across teams using tools like Marketo, 6sense Conversational Email, 6sense ABM, and Salesforce CRM to achieve business goals. 

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Strategy and Planning 
    • Develop and execute marketing automation strategies integrating 6sense Conversational Email and ABM tools to support demand generation, lead nurturing, and customer retention. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with business objectives, while defining and segmenting target audiences to craft personalized campaigns. 
    Campaign Management 
    • Build, execute, and optimize email campaigns, nurture programs, and automated workflows using platforms such as Marketo, incorporating 6sense tools for enhanced effectiveness. 
    • Develop A/B testing plans for email subject lines, content, and CTAs, ensuring campaigns adhere to branding guidelines and are delivered on time. 
    Platform Management 
    • Optimize and maintain the marketing automation platform with CRM systems like Salesforce, troubleshooting technical issues to ensure seamless data flow. 
    • Stay updated on new marketing platform features, evaluating opportunities to evolve existing programs. 
    Data Analysis and Reporting 
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, leveraging insights from tools like 6sense. 
    • Generate and present reports on campaign effectiveness and ROI, using data insights to refine marketing strategies and tactics. 
    Compliance and Governance 
    • Ensure campaigns comply with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant regulations while maintaining data hygiene within the marketing database. 
    Collaboration and Training 
    • Partner with campaign managers and content writers to ensure messaging aligns with audience needs and campaign goals. 
    • Train team members on best practices and the use of marketing automation tools, coordinating with sales on lead scoring and hand-off processes. 
    Innovation and Optimization 
    • Identify and implement innovative technologies or strategies to enhance marketing automation and customer engagement. 
    • Continuously optimize workflows, templates, and processes for improved efficiency and scalability. 

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 
  • 4-5+ years of experience in marketing automation, digital marketing, preferably within technology or data management. 
  • Proficiency in platforms like Marketo and experience with CRM systems like Salesforce. 
  • Familiarity with 6sense Conversational Email and ABM is advantageous. 
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with experience in reporting tools and methodologies. 
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
  • Comfortable with and proficient in leveraging AI tools and technologies in day-to-day work to enhance marketing efforts. 
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices and regulations. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
