MDM Field Engineer - Remote, US

We're looking for MDM Field Engineer candidate with experience in pre-sales technical support, strategic customer engagement focused to join our team as remote.

You will report to the Associate Director

You will act as a trusted advisor to both technical and executive stakeholders, delivering complex product solutions, driving customer success, and providing feedback to influence product direction.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Deliver pre-sales technical support and solution consulting for Informatica's cloud-based data governance, data integration, and master data management solutions.
• Work collaboratively with solution architects, customer success teams, and sales leadership to develop and present tailored solutions addressing complex customer requirements.
• Engage with stakeholders across all levels—from technical teams to executive leadership—to articulate Informatica's value proposition and demonstrate technical proof of concepts (POCs), pilots, and demos.
• Provide expert guidance and prepare comprehensive product specifications to meet customer use cases and support successful implementations.
• Mentor and enable junior engineers and architects through knowledge sharing, creation of reusable assets, and best practices.
• Partner closely with product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback, identify product enhancements, and participate in roadmap planning.
• Balance customer-facing technical responsibilities with strategic influence, helping shape data management solutions that solve real-world business challenges.
• Support RFP responses and marketing activities as a technical subject matter expert.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and continuously enhance your knowledge of cloud platforms, data security, and Informatica products.

Role Essentials

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in data integration, master data management, data governance, or related technical consulting roles.
• Communications, Collaboration and team player
• Proven in both technical and business contexts, engaging audiences ranging from hands-on engineers to C-level executives.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or coding language and intermediate certification(s) in cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing security concepts and experience advising integrations with applications like Salesforce, SAP, or custom solutions.
• Strong expertise in Informatica products, with an ability to create strategic proof plans and execute successful customer engagements.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; relevant professional certifications

• BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience
