Senior Director, Field Enablement
We're looking for an Senior Director, Field Enablement candidate that develops, establishes and directs sales training strategies and policies to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the sales organization. This person will join our team in Redwood City as a hybrid role.
You will report to the GVP, Sales Operations.
You will determine and evaluate sales training needs for the organization. Also, select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the Enablement function.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
- Leads a team, routinely via subordinate leaders, of Field Enablement staff.
- Determines and evaluates sales and/or professional services enablement needs for the global sales/professional services organization.
- Directs the development of training curriculum, programs, tools, procedures, and processes strategies.
- Oversees the effort to create, organize, and conduct sales training sessions.
- Facilitates formal and informal presentations to senior executive leadership, and other stakeholder function leaders, as appropriate.
- Works with marketing team and product management to incorporate marketing strategy into enablement curriculum.
- Provides guidance within the sales/professional services organizations and shares best practices.
- Analyzes performance of sales/professional services personnel to determine need for additional enablement.

- Routine engagement with top level executives to provide functional expertise advice that influences company-level strategy and negotiates upon critical matters.
- Uses long term business objectives and strategy to guide work and direct the work of others.
- Advanced ability to motivate and lead large team(s) in pursuit of business objectives and through transformative environments.
- Uses succession planning, talent reviews and knowledge of future organization
Role Essentials
- Travels to Enablement events and internal meetings is required, typically up to 25%.
- At this level, incumbents will routinely lead globally distributed teams and resources with BU/Segment wide Enablement accountability.
- Key driver of Enablement organizational strategy and objectives development.
