Senior Cloud Operations Engineer- TechSales- Bangalore
We're looking for a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer- TechSales candidate with experience in automation, scripting, and infrastructure development to join our team in Bangalore location.
You will report to the Manager of Technical Sales Support.
You will improve cloud resources that support technical sales engagements, including provisioning, maintaining, and enhancing infrastructure for POCs, workshops, and product demonstrations. Beyond infrastructure management, you will play a critical role in automation by creating efficient deployments, optimising cloud operations, and developing tools to increase productivity.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
- Manage Informatica platforms (on-premises and cloud) including installation, upgrades, configuration, security, and networking.
- Manage the configuration, security, and networking aspects of Informatica Cloud demo platforms and resources.
- Collaborate with Cloud Trust Operations for platform changes and ensure high availability across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud.
- Monitor cloud environments to detect issues, improve costs, and maintain performance and reliability.
- Implement security best practices, threat monitoring, and compliance audits to strengthen security posture.
- Automate deployments and operations using Bash/Python scripting, Ansible, Docker, and DevOps practices.
- Troubleshoot, containers, and hyperscaler platforms.
- Maintain high availability and performance of the Informatica platform and runtime agent.
- Manage user roles, access controls, and permissions within the Informatica Cloud demo platform.
- Work with Informatica support to lead platform improvements and resolve technical challenges.
- Provide 24x5 support and participate in on-call rotations..
What We'd Like to See
- Skills in automation (Bash/Python), DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience in automation tools like Ansible.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience managing Unix/Linux/Windows environments, relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, Snowflake), and SQL skills.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana.
- Experience with Informatica Cloud (IDMC), on-premises Informatica, and cloud storage solutions (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or Azure Synapse).
Role Essentials
- BE or equivalent educational background, with a combination of relevant education and experience being considered.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Ability managing cloud infrastructure for technical sales
- Experience troubleshooting multi-cloud, multi-platform environments
