Description

We’re currently looking for a Technical Lead with experience in Web and Digital Platforms to join our team in Bangalore.

 

Job Summary

As our Technical Lead, you will be responsible for designing and providing effective technical solutions for Digital Platforms. In the role of Technical Lead, you must be able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Working as the Technical Lead you must have strong technical, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

Day-to-day Duties? Here's What You'll Be Doing

• Envision and enhance the technical architecture of the web applications to align it with the business goals and future objectives
• Provide technical leadership for IT web solutions
• Provide scalable, maintainable, secure, and robust designs/solutions that meet business goals/objectives
• Accountable and ensure technical quality of deliverables
• Serve as technical escalation point
• Guide developers in troubleshooting and resolving issues/challenges
• Provide necessary solution and architecture recommendations and assess deliverables from the project
• Participate and build technology roadmap in partnership and collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and IT Functional Managers in alignment with Business strategy
• Build strong relationships among Business, Enterprise Architecture and Functional Leaders, socializing and getting consensus on architectural decisions and implications on business processes. Be able to translate the requirements into effective technical solutions
• Support and foster innovative technologies to deliver new ideas that enable business transformation
• Ensure high levels of ongoing system and application performance in production environments
• Define and own the strategy and execution of DevOps and DevSecOps processes and tools for all Web applications
• Define, Improve and Ensure best practices and guidelines are being followed in line with Solution Governance standards and company policies
• Define standards/reference models for implementation
• Take end-to-end responsibility of delivery of builds/projects and follow-through with other teams as needed to ensure high quality and predictable delivery of features

Key Essentials

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science strongly preferred
• Overall 8-10 years' work experience in Technical Delivery and minimum 5years of experience as Solution/Technical Lead in Web/Digital Platforms
• Strong experience in Enterprise Content Management Systems (CMS) like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Knowledge of Salesforce Experience Cloud and CRM concepts and architecture is a plus
• Knowledge of Enterprise Search like Coveo, Solr/Lucene
• Strong working knowledge of Single Sign On solutions like Okta
• Strong understanding and working on Marketing and Customer Support platforms
• Strong development skills on multiple web platforms - Java/Ruby/Python/JavaScript/HTML5, CSS as well as multiple integration models like SOAP/RESTful web services
• Good Understanding of UX/UI topics, ability to brief and challenge designs
• Strong record of designing solutions both within a single technology as well as spanning multiple technology platforms
• Good knowledge of web application security and proven experience in defining security coding standards
• Continuous integration / Automatic deployment (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven)
• Demonstrated ability to assess the technical attributes of a platform and be able to do a comparative analysis
• Good solution communication skills as well as presenting the solution with value proposition (pros and cons/risks).
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Capacity to control and manage priorities and schedule, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to resolve project issues and develop consensus, collaboration and coordination in difficult business and technical situations
• Aptitude for implementing alternatives to execute projects and processes in a faster, more efficient, or more cost-effective manner
• Show understanding of business objectives, processes and how they drive technological decisions
