Your Opportunity

 

Join our User Experience team to help us design next-generation AI powered tools for data management including Data and Applications Integration, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Data Catalog and Governance, API management, Data Privacy and more. Influence the way people within organizations, from IT professionals to our users, interact with and use data.

 

Design for CLAIRE – Informatica's AI platform which includes Claire GPT and Copilot, Solve big, complex problems, while collaborating in an exciting, with other professional designers, researchers and AI Engineers.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

 

You are experienced at using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and user-centered design (UCD) approaches to create rich, scalable, high-productivity AI-driven enterprise tools or AI Copilot and Conversation AI Design applications. You've had experience doing this for AI driven Cloud products and are eager to extend your knowledge of GEN AI & Cloud technologies and opportunities. You excel in a collaborative environment working with other UX designers, AI Designers, researchers and product-team members to deliver best practices in Design for AI, UCD, information architecture, and interaction design. You enjoy working with product managers to understand and define our requirements and working with AI Engineers to realize the designs within technical AI capabilities and constraints.

 

Most importantly, you relish interacting with users, creating next gen AI conceptual vision, having your design ideas and assumptions tested, and using users' feedback and insights to create the best user experiences for them, while meeting product requirements and needs.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

The successful candidate will work at our Bangalore campus and will be responsible for:

• Plan and deliver UX designs while working with teams to create AI user experiences for new and extended data-management offerings.
• Create conceptual design and vision demos with next Gen AI experiences applying large learning modals (LLM's).
• Explore possibilities using GEN AI and other traditional AI methods and experimenting design on creating AI experiences and novel interaction design ideas.
• Conducting team member interviews and design workshops.
• Synthesize results from user research into coherent designs
• Creating information architectures, task flows, user interaction models, wireframe screen flows, prototypes, detailed designs, design briefs, design specifications, AI design patterns and guidelines.
• Influence product teams and the organization to achieve solutions that are right for our customers.
• Foster a fun, creative, collaborative spirit

 

Your Qualifications

 

• 5+ years of experience designing user interfaces and user experiences for cloud-based web AI applications both consumer and enterprise.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in related discipline (UX, HCI, Industrial Design, Cognitive Psychology, Graphic Design, Engineering, etc.)
• An online portfolio that demonstrates your design experience including conceptual models, navigation and user flows, information design, and mock-ups
• Knowledge of AI advances, Conversational design, user-centered design product development.
• Experience generating end-to-end designs - from concept through production detailing.
• Expert in conceptualizing design and creating vision demos.
• Demonstrated experience developing AI experiences, Motion Design, UX design guidelines and design specifications.
• Proven effectiveness working in teams including product management, AI engineering, developers, QA, documentation and other UX professionals.
• Demonstrated proficiency with wireframing and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Miro, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and other design tools.
• Experience using user-research methods, analytics, and other insights to guide product direction.
• Excellent written, presentation skills and a good storyteller.
