Your Opportunity

Lead the market with customers around their “Data Driven” objectives, creating thought-leadership around customer value from Data, accelerating the growth of Informatica as the market leader for UK&I Enterprise customers and developing market scale and capability with our GSI, Hyperscaler and Channel partners, Building and developing an “A” team, continuing to deliver strong Cloud growth for the business. All of these challenges are the opportunity encompassed by this leadership team role. 

Own and develop the UKI Enterprise market for Informatica building on a strong existing customer base and great partnerships. Leading a team of Account Executives charged with engaging and managing customers to deliver value and developing the market at scale effectively. This role requires great experience in scaling a market leading software company in the sector, running a strong operational business at pace and accelerating the growth of the business and team.

Our vision for Data Management at scale for the market will be supported by using your leadership skills to develop a team from identification and qualification of opportunities; to business development; and order fulfilment, delivering consistent over-achieve against sales goals.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to develop our Enterprise segment across the UK & Ireland. This individual will be tasked with generating growth within new and existing customers and should have a proven track record in leading hyper-growth software businesses and cross-functional teams. Working effectively to operate an integrated business model facing the market to ensure our teams deliver to the customers from initial engagement through customer value.  They will be required to manage a team with expectations to overachieve.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing Software Sales teams that are selling complex Integration, Cloud, Big Data, Data Governance and/or SaaS into the UK&I Enterprise segment.

You will develop and execute a strategic and comprehensive business plan for UK&I Enterprise. Your focus is to build the success of the region through outstanding execution against a growth business plan. You will have full responsibility for accurate forecasting and quarterly revenue delivery. A significant portion of your time will be focused on developing the organisation and your teams to deliver Data Driven value across the market, creating excellence across all market interactions.

Capabilities

  • You will be expected to accelerate territory growth, exceed revenue quotas, and deliver against customer satisfaction goals
  • Be an Informatica ambassador within customers, maximizing our brand recognition and mindshare at all levels, evangelizing our solution and publicizing success stories
  • Hire and build out the team to focus on UK&I Enterprise
  • Build and operationally execute a business plan for UK&I Enterprise focusing on customer acquisition and customer success
  • Build awareness for Informatica in UK&I Enterprise and position the Informatica story into the target verticals
  • Lead and manage a team of Strategic Accounts Sales Executives to deliver customer business value and develop customer relationships
  • Operate an integrated approach using cross-functional teams in order to develop an impactful sales strategy for delivering accelerated growth
  • Develop a Value based selling culture across the teams which delivers customer business success and value from their “Data Driven” strategies
  • Assist in pricing strategies and commercial partnerships with customers across the Enterprise market
  • Ensure effective Demand Generation is programmatically in place to support the growth expectations
  • This should include land and expand, inbound and outbound prospecting, up selling/cross selling, and pipeline development with all Informatica functions
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing partners
  • Developing System Integrator, Cloud Service Provider and Channel partner engagements in your region and with your teams
  • Maintain consistent implementation of effective sales processes for optimum performance and success of the organization
  • Keep a pulse on the market: Know the landscapes and trends that may shift tactical budgets and strategic directions of accounts

Qualifications

  • 10 years minimum of successful enterprise software sales/sales leadership in UK&I Enterprise segment with experience working in both strategic high value software business model and SaaS business models
  • Extensive knowledge of how software is positioned and sold to C Level executives both Line of business, IT and procurement executives
  • Great emphasis on Customer Success and delivery of customer value
  • Strong experience of value based selling strategies and proven execution
  • Strong new business mentality with drive to win and execute new customer acquisition strategy
  • Sales Methodology training focused on transformational change for Customers and Market
  • Experienced in leading cross-functional teams in customer and market engagement
  • Experience building organisations, hiring and developing top talent
  • Proven track record of over-achieving targets
  • Ability to negotiate mutually agreeable outcomes with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial spirit/mindset with flexibility towards dynamic change
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • University degree or equivalent practical experience
