Position Title: Senior Software Engineer

At work, you should shaw a strong programming, and development skills in any or all of the areas Python, Shell, Java, you should shaw a good analytical thinking to assess software releases cycles and process involved and to identify areas to improve reliability or performance, you do better collaboration with all external teams that include other developers and PMOs to all develop and deploy programs. Also, you should Show your Project management skills to make teams more effective and involve in day-to-day firefighting and delegating the Problem-solving skills - bug fixes and troubleshooting to juniors. You should be good at communication and able to prepare reports and documentation and deliver presentations to team leaders and co-workers

Your Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant experience in software testing, designing Software Deployment strategies, Build and release engineering, project management, and software development
• Candidate must have solid experience and understanding on Build and release , and DevOps tools and technologies.
• Candidate must have experience in Shift left principles and have a good posture on software automation engineering and validation.
• Candidate must have good experience on any major cloud providers like AWS\Azure\GCP and on all of its major storage \compute services and understand the technologies around it.
• Candidate must have good understanding on various testing types like Chaos engineering, Acceptance testing and other QA process that are align towards delivery of  a quality code before it reaches to production. 
• Candidate must have good understating and experience on various build and release \Devops tools but not limited to, like Maven\Gradle\Jfrog\Chef\Jenkins as few in names.
• Candidate must be good at Jenkins\Perforce\Github\Chef and all its configuration.
• Candidate must support Informatica vision of “code to production in 12 hrs” and work on the strategies to achieve  this in a cost effective ways.
• Good knowledge in setting up logging/monitoring tools, such as, ELK or Prometheus, Grafana, is required 
• Strong Scripting language knowledge, such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell, is required.
• Experience with deployment and maintenance of elastic applications with microservice architecture is must.
• Experience across entire SDLC, CI/CD tools, with configuration & release management, deployments, and troubleshooting in cloud environments. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Candidate must be Providing expert advice to other engineers in the team and delegate the problem-solving skills to them.
• Candidate must have eagerness to learn newer technologies in market and must be self-learner and delegate that knowledge to others in team.
• Candidate should be able to take up company’s MBO’s to implementation level.
• Candidate should be flexible at the working hours and must participate on various build/release and deployment activities for cloud projects and work closely with Continuous Delivery team that supports acceptance and other validations before it goes to Operations teams.
• Support the agile software development process among cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product delivery.
• Ability to work under considerable pressure managing multiple tasks and priorities 
• Work with development teams across multiple locations to drive automation, establish software standards, service modularity, testing standards, and deployment/management of microservices.
• Support and improve our tools, infrastructure, and processes that support rapid and reliable delivery of high-quality software to our production service. 

Good to have 

• Experience on informatica products will have an added advantage
• Experience with any Database technologies and Elastic Search is a plus 
• Web client technologies such as React and Java
• Experience in Unit testing\API automation, Integration, and end to end Karate, Cypress and Selenium is plus.
