Financial Analyst - Redwood City, CA

We're looking for a Financial Analyst candidate to join our team in Redwood City, CA. 
Our FP&A team provides financial insights and guidance to support the organization's long-term goals and strategies. Reporting to a Sr Manager, Finance you will partner across the business to allocate and deploy our resources for the highest impact outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support with Workforce planning – You will support coordinating headcount planning process and analyzing trends, projections, and financial forecasts to ensure teams headcount strategies meet the overall goals.
  • Forecasting and reporting, and month end/quarter close activities. This includes performing the monthly analysis of actuals, monthly forecasting, annual planning, and engaging with multiple business partners.
  • Prepare Monthly Reporting – Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant insights and business plans. Prepare travel budget reports for Product org leaders.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis and Special Projects – You will be asked to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed. This includes maintaining and updating complex Excel deal analysis templates.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates with the following education, experience, and skills:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another quantitative field. Must have US work authorization, no visa sponsorship offered.

4+ years of relevant experience, including in corporate finance, accounting, or management consulting

- Strong Excel financial modeling and data analytics skills

- Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills 

- Experience working with multiple cross-functional groups

- Ability to multi-task and manage dynamic workload of changing priorities

- Collaborative team player who can work independently, proactively, and effectively under pressure

- Develop useful and specific recommendations and communicate results effectively to all levels of management

- Experience with PowerBI and Oracle ERP is a plus
