As part of our Enterprise Applications team, you will have the rare opportunity to shape our HR technology platform for various Workday modules, focusing on Workday Core HCM and Absence Management. Informatica is growing rapidly, and we need you to support the capability and expansion across our HR systems. This is a hands-on, high-impact, high-visibility role.

The Workday Analyst will help support the Core HCM and Absence modules within our organization's Workday instance and the automation of critical workflows across HR, IT Ops, Payroll, and Time tracking. You will focus on providing analytical support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements related to these modules. Additionally, the Analyst will lead the MSP team, overseeing their activities and ensuring seamless integration with our Workday system. Given the global nature of our operations, the role will require the Analyst to support integrations within the IST time zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Core HCM and Absence Module Support:
  • Provide expert-level support for the Core HCM and Global time and absence modules, including configuration, data validation, and issue resolution.
  • Analyse complex data and identify trends to inform process improvements.
  • Develop documentation for Workday processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into Workday configurations.
  • MSP Team Leadership:
  • Lead the MSP team, ensuring their efficient and effective delivery of Workday support services.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Project Management:
  • Participate in Workday projects, providing analysis and support as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of Workday enhancements and upgrades.
  • Understand Data Governance, ensuring attention to data quality, defined development best practices, and security and data privacy standards.
  • Continuous Learning:
  • Stay up to date on Workday best practices, new features, and industry trends.
  • Attend relevant training and certifications to enhance knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8 or more years of experience hands-on with Workday HCM and Absence modules.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience with Workday core functionality, security, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Workday configuration, calculated fields, and integrations.
  • Experience with Workday reporting tools (e.g., BIRT, Calculated Reports).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Core Connectors).
