Senior Solution Architect – Global Partner Technical Sales (GPTS)

We're looking for a Senior Solution Architect with experience working in data & cloud Integration to join our Global Partner Technical Sales (GPTS) Team. This position is best suited for individuals residing close to any of our Informatica office locations in the United States.

You will report to the Director, Global Technical Sales Channels (GPTS).

Informatica Global Partner Technical Sales (GPTS), part of the Technical Sales organization, is a global function of solution-oriented trusted advisors chartered to drive growth and mutual success through our Partners. As a key member of this organization, you will drive partner awareness and work side by side with our strategic partners on joint accounts. Your role will involve steering the technical sales cycle, advancing deal progression, and cultivating customer trust.

Additionally, you will also prioritize the customer's long-term objectives by laying the essential groundwork for successful project implementations, leveraging the exceptional delivery capabilities offered through our network of strategic partners. Within our technical sales community you will be an active, constant learner and ready to share what you learn with our community of trusted partners. You will position Informatica value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment and consumption in the cloud.

Within the technical sales community, you will act as a mentor to other team members, you will help develop collective selling assets, knowledge repositories, and enablement materials.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Build relationships, promote and work with our partners to find and realize opportunities.
  • Engage VP, Director customer and partner personas, credibility with data engineers, data scientists, and other technical customer personas.
  • Prepare and deliver creative solution presentations or technical proposals.
  • Manage customer & partner engagements independently.
  • Stay current on certification of services related to area of focus.
  • Present new customer demos for new use cases.
  • Present and deliver demos at marketing, customer or partner events independently.
  • Facilitate workshops for partners and customers that highlight Informatica's unique advantages, core selling points, industry-specific applications, and in-depth technical details.
  • Help our partners qualify technical requirements coming from customers and prospects.
  • Respond to RFIs or RFPs, build advanced demos and work on POC.
  • Work as part of a virtual global team in delivering a technical proposal and assisting strategic partnerships.
  • Understand and translate technical and business challenges and concerns into a solution discussion.

What We'd Like to See

  • Hands-on experience of Data Management and/or Data Governance concepts. Master Data Management background is also nice to have.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Cloud computing security aspects.
  • Expert storytelling and presentation skills across multiple horizontal and vertically specific use cases in front of all levels of technical and business stakeholders.
  • Intermediate or Advanced skills on Informatica services and product capabilities or other similar technologies.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products.
  • Intermediate certification on at least 1 Cloud Ecosystem (ex. AWS, Azure, GCP) and 1 data related cloud technology.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in data management, MDM, or Data Governance.
  • 10 years of prior presales/technical sales or consulting experience.
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred.
