Solution Architect 4

We're looking for Solution Architect candidate with experience in Pre- Sales/ Technical sales or Consulting experience with Data Management, MDM, or Data Governance to join our team in Bangalore- Hybrid

You will report to the Technical Sales Manager

As a Solution Architect, you will engage with internal collaborators and customers and partners to develop technical account plan/strategy and increase sales engagements to technical closure. As an important member of the tech sales team, you will ensure success by capturing customer use cases and designing complex technical solutions on top of Informatica Data Management Cloud. You will educate customers and team members on the Informatica value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment and use in the cloud. Within our technical sales community you will be an active, constant learner with a growth mindset. You will mentor others on the team and contributing to the development of shared selling assets, knowledge stores, and enablement materials. To ensure sustained revenue growth you will contribute to pipeline generation by delivering technical workshops, being active in social media promotions, developing content for external circulation, and participating in industry marketing events.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Intermediate certification on at least 1 Cloud Ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP) and 1 data related cloud technology at the level defined by the business
  • Experience of Cloud computing security aspects
  • Expert level skills for Informatica services and product capabilities
  • Engage VP, Director customer personas
  • Credibility with data engineers, data scientists, and other technical customer personas
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects across multiple horizontal and vertically specific use cases
  • Advanced technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, or Business Intelligence software concepts and products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and execute on a strategic technical account plan as defined by the business

Essential duties

  • Manage customer engagements independently
  • Share best practices and content on competition and other ecosystem vendors
  • Stay current on certification of services related to area of focus
  • Perform all activities leading up to the delivery of a Customer Specific Demo with no assistance including discovery, technical qualification, customer presentations, standard demo and any related customer-facing communication
  • Conduct technical workshops with customers with no assistance
  • Lead on RFP responses and POC's related for area of focus
  • Partner with the CSM team to nurture activities including technical advisory, workshops, etc.
  • Ability to support demos at marketing events
  • Customize, create, and present customer demos
  • Present existing EBC content either at Informatica or onsite with customers

Education/Experience

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Data Management, MDM, or Data Governance
  • 10 years of prior presales/technical sales or consulting experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background
