Principal Product Marketing Manager - Bangalore

We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing candidate with experience in enterprise software, data management software, and data engineering to join our team in Bangalore.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Lead industry-leading, cloud-native Informatica's Data Integration and Data Engineering solutions, focusing on enterprise customers.
  • Manage product marketing and GTM for data integration and data engineering solutions.
  • Work with product management, sales, alliance and GSI teams, and other groups within marketing to lead critical deliverables to support sales enablement, demand generation, and expertise.
  • Define market strategies and create sleek, provocative, messaging and positioning.
  • Work with customers to develop compelling assets that promote their data integration and data engineering journey and outcomes.
  • Be an SME for the sales team to explain the value of Informatica's AI/GenAI-powered data integration and data engineering solutions to prospects.
  • Promote our products and best practices by marketing events, webinars, social media, and other channels.
  • Be a spokesperson with press, analysts, and at industry events.
  • Shape the complete launch of new products.

What We'd Like to See

  • Are well-versed in enterprise software, especially data management, data integration, data engineering, AI/GenAI, and cloud technologies.
  • Can develop product positioning/messaging that articulates unique value propositions.
  • Understand multiple main personas, including data engineers, data integrators, ETL and software developers, data analysts, data scientists, and C-level IT managers.
  • Oversee and deliver a complete bill of materials, including ebooks, blogs, whitepapers, datasheets, customer-facing presentation, briefs, FAQs, guides, and related collateral that allow the sales process from lead generation to deal close, create excitement, and build trust in market leadership that accelerates solution adoption.
  • Work with partner and GSI teams to accelerate and scale programmes.
  • Can persuade across a global, diverse organisation by building relationships based on results and reliable ongoing interactions.
  • Can think out-of-the-box and bring a creative flair to product positioning and marketing campaigns.

Role Essentials

  • 5 or more years of product marketing experience with experience delivering compelling, creative content in an enterprise software environment.
  • Develop an understanding of data integration and data engineering market and solutions, customer pain points, competition, and trends.
  • Experience with content development for complex products sold to IT or other technical buyers.
  • Work with peer and senior technical customer users/buyers to solicit and summarise customer and market feedback for relevant recommendations on positioning and messaging.
  • Create data-driven go-to-market plans and adjust based on data analysis, market feedback, and corporate strategy evolution.
  • MBA or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
