Principal DevOps Engineer
We're looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer - Internal Automation & Self service tools development, Cloud Applications and Kubernetes to join our team in Bangalore, India.
You will report to the Director of Cloud DevOps and Operations .
You will work with the Product Development, Infrastructure , Security & Operations teams.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
- Outstanding problem-solving and collaboration abilities and a demonstrated ability to take the lead to get things done
- Experience setting platform standards for administration, orchestration, security, and monitoring in high-availability production environments
- Deployment & automation with design for scalability, ensuring the implementation can support current and future workloads without degrading system performance in production.
- Establish partnership with Developers, Operations, Infrastructure & Secuirty teams on requirements and iterating on integrations and configurations for continuous improvement in software delivery on the production environment.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture decisions, integration processes, and operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Be an amazing performer and team player who enjoys challenging assignments in a fast-growing distributed workplace.
- Work in an Agile software development team delivering product and feature increments in short iterations.
What We'd Like to See
- Proficiency in Python and/or similar scripting; Experience with Go or Java is a plus
- Knowledge of system design principles and best practices.
- Solid experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
- Working knowledge of GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory are required
- Solid grasp of Unix/Linux fundamentals and advanced TCP/IP networking concepts including DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and VPC/VNet.
Role Essentials
- Deep Domain expertise in containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, Helm charts, CRDs and K8 operators, service mesh using istio & envoy
- Hands on experience in CI/CD tools and platforms, infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks such as Terraform, Pulumi, Chef, and serverless computing (AWS Lambda), Github Actions.
- 8+ years of professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
