Senior Development Manager - FullStack

We're looking for an Senior Development Manager - FullStack candidate with experience in Java, Frontend, Cloud Applications and Programming to join our team in Bangalore/Hybrid.

You will report to the Director, Development.

You will join the team that is building next-generation Enterprise Cloud product portfolio. Informatica is on an Cloud mission to discover, analyze, map, and integrate all data flows in the enterprise providing intelligence that allows customers to unlock the power of data. It empowers customers to manage master data flows across systems; understand and address data security risks; govern data quality and data flows/Integration in the enterprise.

eg. Java, AWS, Hadoop, Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, API Services.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Build a team of accomplished engineers who are responsible for the cloud platform
• Work with product management and engineering leaders to understand the vision and product roadmap.
• Develop short, medium and long-term plans to accelerate the cloud platform roadmap with forward looking architecture and design.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews and planning
• Collaborate with several teams, architects, product managers and engineers on a daily basis.
• Work with our Global Customer Support teams to address important customer issues.
• Help R&D counterparts and important partners with onboarding onto the cloud platform.
• Provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members.
• Provide hands-on development guidance to the team, mentoring with architecture and code structure, and doing code reviews.
• Keep up to date on the latest solutions that will best serve the business.

What We'd Like to See

• Demonstrated experience delivering large, enterprise-scale, distributed platforms and developing reusable and common services developed across products.
• Experience through the platform development lifecycle, onboarding team members on the platform and supporting successful adoption of products.
• Experience planning releases, resource planning, team member management, dependency management and working with teams and technology partners.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills; ability to work with geographically distributed teams.
• Experience with the ability to evaluate important technical proposals and hire and mentor excellent engineers, getting hands-on.
• Solid experience developing solutions using Java, Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Excellent cloud experience including multi-tenancy, secured application, high availability, microservices, telemetry,
• Experience with Object-Oriented Development like Java, and working knowledge in relational databases like MySQL, NoSQL
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Chef, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Argo CD,, test automation frameworks, Git Repository, Perforce.
• Strong experience in DevOps, iterative releases and Agile development processes.
• Proficiency with cloud technologies such as AWS Cloud (EC2, ECS, EKS), Azure, GCP and working experience in delivering products to public cloud.
• Building applications with microservices with end-to-end low latency response.

Role Essentials

• Experience in building, onboarding and maintaining data management platforms.
• Domain expertise in Data Integration, Data management and metadata management.
• Knowledge on secure development practices, experience in compliances like SOC-2, FedRAMP.
• Firm grasp of API strategies and best practices, experience handling high volume transactions, data transfers.
• 3+ years' experience in leadership role.
• Minimum 12+ years of relevant professional experience
• Manage people managers or senior level individual contributors
